Anyone any suggestions for an indoor turning target system for 25 yards gallery rifle/pistol. Preferably electric/car battery. Affordable, two lanes only.

I would have thought you would have already made your own

Very easy to make your own with a simple switchbox, air compressor & pneumatic ram. Ours has progressed to pneumatic with wireless control. I'm sure there's somebody in your club with the necessary skills.

Yes, looks like we might need to go down the DIY route - just wondered if there was a reasonably priced "off the peg" system. I made a system many years ago using a Sinclair ZX81 as the timing system - actually worked very well.

Most of the commercial systems are very over priced and some very unreliable as well.

A turning target system has been my lockdown project.
I am building mini McQueen target currently has 6 targets. Running off 12v battery at target end. Use your smart phone to connect via wifi to the target. Looking at also making figure 8 rotating.

That sounds interesting - and thanks for the other ideas chaps.
I thought there might be an easy "off the peg" solution. I guess there would have been if pistol shooting had continued as it was in the 1980's, however the market is probably so small here it's not worth the candle to develop a system.

I was thinking something along these line would be available at a realistic price but not as far as I can see.

I did built a turning target system many years ago that worked very well with the timing controlled by a ZX81 computer - That must have been basic :)

We have a system at the club that was bought a couple of years ago. Think it was about £500. Will have to check exact price and make, so will post when I get an answer back.
