Blimey I’m well behind the times, just found out we can have semi auto’s.

I’m talking about ‘real’ air rifles not CO2.

Anyone got one or any idea how many makers do them?

Steyr is the only one I can think of…

The only one I have seen allegedly doesn't count as semi-auto as it uses the magazine as the chamber.
The one I saw was personally imported from Europe and I was told it was painfully expensive, that said it was great fun.

I have just found it, it is the Steyr Hunting 5, and looks to be over £2000.

That’s the one!

Bloody good full bore bolt gun for that money!

Tbf, most top end pcp’s are pushing £2k.

I want one, but don’t if you know what I mean.

Meanwhile, in 'Merca. (yes it's a BB gun but it's got rock and roll)

I have a Brno B96 5 shot semi-auto target pistol - yes, it's CO2 but works well and good fun. I'm thinking of fitting a detachable butt and extended barrel to mirror my Buckmark .22lr rifle.

And if you ever bust the toffee-metal rear sight, www.sureshot-airguns.co.uk can probably get a replacement.........mine cost £50 and took a couple of months.

When I was a kid a stall at the annual fair had what looked to be a Lewis gun that shot BBs at an amazing rate of fire. Air was supplied via a compressor tank.
You had to shoot out a red star on a card. You never actually managed it because just as you needed a few more BBs it'd run out. I'd have one of those.
