BSA CFT 7.62 HELP

Can anyone please tell me how to take the bolt out please :grin:

I could be wrong, but I think if you open the bolt but keep it forward then pull the trigger and hold it back the bolt will slide out.

The safety is conveniently positioned just to the right of the bolt handle, and locks the bolt and disengages the seer when applied. By moving the safety catch partially forward you can release the bolt whilst the rifle is still 'safe'.

Possibly showing my ignorance (or old man's memory failure) wasn't the cadet version of the CF2 withdrawn for some safety reason?

Isn't this the rifle where you 'push' the trigger forward (towards the muzzle) as you withdraw the bolt?
