Anyone tell me about this ???

This scope my Grandfather used when he was a headkeeper on his .22lr Pakerhale .
Just curious to know a bit more about it

Hi Matt
Has the scope got a manufacturers name on it ? It could be a PH scope made from 1939 on wards allthough the mounts dont look like most of that type of scope as they are usually a shiney alloy . It does remind me of the Winchester mounts . all in all its a nice scope and worth a few bob . probably about a 9x magnificaion , if you have any more close up pics it would be intersting .

The mounts id imagine are probably alloy , they are a little grubby to be honest !!

It looks like it could be a PH scope , this is mine
As I said made from 1939 by Fecker in the US . It should have Parker Hale Target scope stamped om it between the occular lense and the parralex adjustment .

Thats exactly the same , and yes it does have " Targetscope " written on it !
What do you use yours on ???

A BSA MkII International lightweight .22 lr rifle
any of the older target rifles which have the scope blocks fitted to the barrel will accept this type of scope mount .

It certainly does depending on condition should fetch at least £250 on ebay , very sought after this type of scope .
