Hi,

I have a 25 moa Weaver rail that I can fit on a Swing for use with a scope. I'd also like to use a Centra LR rearsight in Weaver fitting. That way, I could use the rifle in two modes, MR and TR without having to remove the weaver rail.

My question is: Would the slight forward lean of the rear sight have any adverse effect on the sight picture? The alternative would be to get a flat Weaver rail, but then I might not get enough elevation with the scope.

Any suggestions much appreciated.

I know several people who have fitted Centra/RPA Trakker sights to weaver rails that have 20/25MOA inclines. None of them seem to have any problems, all seem to shoot pretty well with them.

Pete,

No reason to worry about that. 20 MOA represent nothing reduced to the aperture diameter. Moreover, the Iris apreture is conical with the smaller diaa to the rear to present at rear a sharp plane.
