Owch!

I just paid £63 for a tub of N540. And having phoned around, I am happy with that! Am seeing prices of £80 per kilo, which is silly, and then Hodgdon at £42 per tub.

This is nuts! I saw TR140 a while back but didn't look too seriously - is it still the same price, or has that gone up too?

...that'd depend what price it was when you last saw it!!

I'll give my crystal ball a rub & see if I can get an answer....

You may have seen TR140 at GBP at the show but GBP55-60 is more accurate in the shops and Hodgdon is sold by the Lb whereas VV is by the Kg

Fair point sorry!!

About 55 quid a tub, when it emerged onto the market.

I know powders are considerably cheaper in the US, but does anyone know how they are priced in Europe?

Not managed to find anything in Europe that works out cheaper and believe me I've looked

My eldest is moving to Holland this month and will have a look about and see what he can find over there, I know Bold Action have Gynex primers quite cheap but don't know if I could bring them back on the ferry.

At the moment the best bargain is certainly the TR140 or Elcho17, or if you're shooting pistol calibre like .44 then Nobelsport GM3 is cheaper at around £32/Kg if you can find any.

I feel if the rise in reoading costs has slowly crept up on me! I was loading some slug earlier and my pot of Green Dot has a 26.00 price ticket on it. The new pot has a 37.00 price ticket on it........!!

At the minute, I've got around a dozen or so different powders in the cupboard of one flavour or the other. Most are part used tubs. They will all give fairly decent accuracy in the calibers I have, with some giving outstanding! I'm just going to use it all before buying more. The same with bullets and primers..... I suppose, I just can't afford to stockpile the way I did. Perhaps that's why I've shot a wagon load of .22 rimfire of late!
