I might be plotting a visit to Century 500/600 if there is space on the morning of Saturday 29th. With marker if possible.

Anyone interested?

When we lived in Chesterfield we had a very nice grassed orchard with mostly apple trees, the kids used to love climbing and swinging in them. I sawed one down every year until we moved.

Two swings in the back garden so far, one small kiddy one and a length of chain hung over a limb of one of the big oaks. That's strong enough to take me.

The Swing I'm going to look at is probably not suited to being a kids toy though.

So, from the posts so far, you're all swingers?

A MkIV Swing is as good as it gets for accuracy from a rifle action. Some more recent designs are as good; none are better
