sign85 I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions for mounts/scope rings to mount a 25mm (Ziess conquest) tube onto a picatinny rail system. Ideally QD mounts but not overly necessary. A friend lent me his A.R.M mounts to try but they were 30mm however I was really impressed with the quality and finish, I have been looking at warne mounts but any suggestions would be appreciated! I think my budget is in the £60 region.

Exactly what Mike says. I use Warnes almost exclusively now. A very dependable and under-rated scope ring...
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

I use the Leupold fixed mounts and they are good - can't comment on the QD ones, never tried them.

Went for Leupold in the end guys, needed them quickly and uttings were the only online people to properly convey their delivery times etc so in theory they should arrive tomorrow

You made the right choice in the end. I have both Warne and Leupold and much prefer the Leupold.
