I was only a youth but I am sure I remember seeing the RUC using these in the late 70's early 80's. Of course, never got to get a close look, justthe muzzle sticking out the back of a grey land rover travelling in front.

When i was a kid watching the A-Team i could never figure out why they could never shoot the bad guys, then i had a go of a Mini-14 and realised why

I have just purchased the hallowed SimG one, and with a cruel twist of fate he sold it to me to fund the purchase of my ex browning abolt TCT.
Anyway it does in fact shoot well and the action is as smooth as butter.
I shall post some pics once I have the scope fitted.

That is superb, from the scope to the stock.........nice cocking handle, obviously that was already on the rifle??? Nice looking flash hider also...

Oh how I regret my impulsive decisions.....!
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?
