Sounds about right, I just checked and we have been hovering around 1000 posts per week recently.

As far as my club is concerned and from the posts already posted in our forum, you wouldn't be missing any quality posts.!!
:D :D :D :D
It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!

We have an average of 145 posts a day on this forum.
My question is, would the 145 posts disappear if there was a dedicated club section populated by let's say an additional 15 members from a club, that is an additional 15 members on top of the forum member count. 157 I think.

Why would the rhythm of the forum change just because there is an additional section that all can see and post in?

I am just asking because I do not know the answer myself...
Because Christel you would be putting in a divide,,,it would end up being a case of "them and us"
If you doubt this then try it and see,,,,,but be warned once they have gone,,most will stay gone...but then you dont have to listen to me,,,its your forum do with it what you will???????????

Answers on a postcard please!
Have they joined as a member, but are not posting on the forum?

I did politely inform our members, that I took the time and effort to make them a website, the least they can do is become members! I still have quite a few still to join. You can lead a horse to water and all that...

Not everyone feels comfortable chatting in a forum. Some just like to read. If they are visiting it's a start.

Now one thing I need to say on this.

This is not just my forum, this is your forum and everyone else's forum. My name is in red because somebody has to Administer the forum and dive into the abyss from time to time. Yes I do make decisions on various subjects based on what Dromia and Robin128 and the members here tell me. If we did not have structure we could end up with chaos. However please do remember it is not my forum it is our forum.

Let me also just take this opportunity to say that if anyone has any ideas or requests about the forum, new sections, subjects, events, anything, please post them.

Spud,

You have to be more specific.
If a reader...not a poster .....then why a section?
Wifes....so that the wifes can post....or people can talk about their wifes?
