Re: P14 and SLR magazines
According to this thread http://www.milsurps.com/showthread.php? ... 96e5b55421 it's possible, but probably not worth it.

Re: P14 and SLR magazines
Chris Richards in Woodbridge made a few up - P14 in a synthetic stock with a 7.62mm barrel and SLR magazine. Apparently it was not easy to get the mag correctly aligned so that it feeds reliably (the biggest problem in the whole Bren L4 conversion programme was the same mag alignment & feeding issue).

Re: P14 and SLR magazines
A nice 1959 SLR magazine has just arrived safely at the Sett, courtesy of a very generous Waterford of this parish. We'll be contacting ovenpaa shortly to see what can be done...

Re: P14 and SLR magazines
Well oomans, we've been to the Shooting Shed and partaken of tea and wisdom with ovenpaa and Christel. It seems the SLR magazine could be made to fit, but it would take a considerable amount of faffing about. However, a better proposition appears to be the H&K G3 magazine IF these are a single stack magazine. We're sure one of you clever bald monkeys can soon tell us if they are...

Double stack..
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Re: P14 and SLR magazines
We do have a spare M65A magazine however I doubt it will be going anywhere plus it is just another 5 round mag. What is needed is a 10 round single stack and ideally something which is very common and ideally obscure.
