It a shame these were banned 2 years before I was born. We're I'd the best place to go for some fun with semi autos?

Save up and go to Knob Creek and bypass semi auto.

A German firm are also remaking the FG42's....as a std. 7.92mm semi-auto....BUT.....they ARE also offering them in straight-pull (so legal in the UK as a S.1)

Thanks froggy, but I'm already all over it... I was speaking to an RFD on Friday about importing one.

This is the link you need, the BD38 is out of the window because of barrel length, but the FG42 type I + II are possible. A forum member here has the BD43/I in straight pull, there are some photos floating around somewhere. I wonder how accurate the BD42/I is...

A local club shooter has a straight pull MP43 - he seems to really like it, though he added a modern scope to it instead of a correct zf4
