Re- Halodin

Ok it is not a FG42 1st Mdl but you could still get a 2nd Mdl for scratch card money ;)

A German firm are also remaking the FG42's....as a std. 7.92mm semi-auto....BUT.....they ARE also offering them in straight-pull (so legal in the UK as a S.1)

Thanks froggy, but I'm already all over it... I was speaking to an RFD on Friday about importing one.

This is the link you need, the BD38 is out of the window because of barrel length, but the FG42 type I + II are possible. A forum member here has the BD43/I in straight pull, there are some photos floating around somewhere. I wonder how accurate the BD42/I is...

...website looks to have crashed though...

I do have a set of manuals and prices somewhere on my PC
IF I find them I will add them here

A local club shooter has a straight pull MP43 - he seems to really like it, though he added a modern scope to it instead of a correct zf4

They seem to have their old and new websites on the same server. If you go to the following link everything works for me.

I'd be interested if you can find a price sheet for them. I'm not sure what the next rifle will be, but an FG42 is definitely in the running...
