I hope this picture doesn't bring back bad memories to you! It will ring your chimes with a full-house .30-06 load! When I lived in Pennsylvania where semi-auto rifles were not allowed for hunting purposes the Remington 760 was
the white tail deer hunting rifle. The Remington 14 and 141 were almost as popular.
I had one of the IMI Timberwolf .44 magnum carbines for many years but when the value of it about tripled from what I paid for it I was persuaded to sell it. The trigger group has a fair number of pins, springs, and other small bits that if one breaks the chances of finding a replacement part is pretty small and I didn't want to risk ending up with an unusable carbine sometime in the future.
