Blue Lizard, any chance of an elevation/profile picture of your SGC 9mm please? Looks nice!

Sure - here're some profile pics, taken before I swapped out the rail ladders to XTM panels:

Note that I sent some of the Magpul furniture that I wanted (STR stock, MOE+ grip, ASAP plate, and a VLTOR mil-spec tube) to Bob at the time of ordering, so that he could incorporate them into the build.

A couple of hiccups - gun had to go back initially to have the crowning redone, and have just had a replacement of the nylon buffer cap, but otherwise it's been solid (and has won me a fair few comps on the way! :)

That was fast, thanks! You've got me dreaming about my next rifle now...

Apart from the upper/lower receiver and I guess the barrel are there any other restrictions about the parts he'll incorporate in to the build? Will SGC allow you to supply your own quad rail for his builds?

Mmm, don't know about that one, as I think the hand guard/delta ring bit that he uses isn't quite standard. However, I know that a few folks have managed to fit after-market AR hand guards to their LA9s - DangerMouse being one I recall...

Best bet would be to drop Bob an email with your query and I'm sure he'll give you a call back with the options.

Thanks. Yes I'll drop him an e-mail and we can have a chat about it. Just out of interest, how accurate (MOA) is your SGC 9mm at 25, 50 @ 100 yards?

Only really get to shoot it at 25m at my club, but it's as tight as the .357 Winchester 94 I was using previously.

Here's a 25m target of 10 rounds factory 115gr 9mm, from a quick bench rest zeroing of my Eotech XPS (no magnification). It can definitely shoot as well as I can!

I just picked up my new 9mm yesterday afternoon. I went for a basic model, but screw cut and a tuned trigger, and also had a Badger tac latch fitted. I can’t wait to try it out on Sunday.

What's the "basic" price of these LR9's now? The latest video on YouTube looks quite appealing.
