New AR Upper for My Lad

#1 Post by John MH »

Upper built at short notice and collected within a week of ordering. Need to be light enough for him to control in the standing position as the NRA are not keen on under 14s shooting in any position other than prone. Hopefully I'll be able to get permission for him in the New Year as I'll be signing him up for the next CSR Course.

Splendid job!

NRA and under 14 prone only? How short sighted.... When my lad was 14, he was bigger and stronger than most men I knew....!!
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Nice set up John,
I did the last CSR course at the beginning of the month and had a great day, Peter Cottrell certainly knows his stuff and the course comes well recommended. Looking forward to the next match on the 7th.

I saw the title and thought, "That sounds like a good swop".
