That A2 Flash Hider is not causing your problem unless it's loose.

Looking at the pic, I'd say get the crush washer and set it correctly, the blank quadrant should be at 6 o'clock.

It looks like the flash hider has been put on too tight. As already said buy a new crush washer and fit it correctly.

Your problems are not caused by the incorrectly timed flash hider.
A shift in group midway through a string is down to a few things, scope/sights loose or faulty, something else loose (ie float tube, bipod, etc) or shift in shooter's position affecting the natural hold or sight alignment.
If the flash hider was shifting the POI it would do so the same way forevery shot unless it is loose. Remove it and try to group to prove it is not the problem.
