Do you think we will ever get an RPK style variant? Im loving AKMS but I would prefer the look of an RPK (adding a bipod to a vepr 12 is cheap imo).

In Russia a RPK version of a Vepr is available complete with the "clubfoot" stock.m7jnu wrote:Do you think we will ever get an RPK style variant? Im loving AKMS but I would prefer the look of an RPK (adding a bipod to a vepr 12 is cheap imo).
The one I'm interested in is a straight pull version of the SVU (bullpup Dragunov) rumoured for this time next year.
Vepr 7.62x39 "RPK" with 75r drum mag

SVU looks interesting, if the rpk ever hit our shores then I will be the first man to buy it.

Have you seen the Vepr-KM aka VPO-136?, they are made from genuine1960s AKMs for the civilian market.A straight pull one of these would be very nice.

I spoke to Oleg regarding the rpk and he said that he needs deposit for at least 10 (he tried to put feelers out in 2012 but no one was interested :( ).
