I have the M82 sniper version of this rifle and with the correct Kahles scope with built in bdc for 155gr nato ammo is very accurate . To get the correct scope mounts and bases look here :-
http://www.normanclark.com/
They have most spare parts for Parker Hale guns including the TX1200 and M82 rifles.

There is a huge (64 pages, 632 posts) 'sticky thread' on these rifles on the Canadian Gun Nuts website.

http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/forum.php

Go to 'Precision Rifles' in the 'Firearms and Optics' section and it's the fourth topic down. It includes lots of posts and large size photos of a guy rebuilding a 1200TX as a 'fake' Canadian military C2 sniper rifle.

Sounds interesting. ..will have to check it out from a PC as doing so by mobile shows the thread as empty of topics (or is membership required?)
