If you're heading for retirement, make sure you spend any 'tax-free' lump sum from your pension fund wisely.
That's what I did. Bulk buying is the name of the game.
I've got umpteen thousands reloading components and I've still got 6 unopened tubs of Varget powder sitting by my bench!
I retired early officially about ten year ago with a pension and a tax free lump sum. Any work I do now is through agencies. My current position was a 12 month contract that was 11 year ago. :shakeshout: Because I work through agencies there is no official retirement age so when I say I am heading for retirement its really up to me when I decide to stop. As I love what I do for a living it could be a while. :shakeshout: The only down side is the 40% income tax. :shakeshout:
I'm entertaining if nothing else. :shakeshout: :shakeshout: Look after the pennies and the pounds will look after them selves life is hard I have to find the money to take her indoors on at least three Foreign Holidays a year. tongueout
