Best ever battle rifle

#1 Post by meles meles »

It has to be the P14, oomans.

It looks good.

It has Mauser action strength.

It has Lee Enfield cock on closing.

It fires .303

It has awesome sights.

What sayest thou?

Depends on the battle !!

600 yards ?

Or the more common 100-300 yards ?

If the latter - it has to be the AK47 !!

I like my number 5.

Fortunately I can't comment on it's prowess as a battle rifle.

The above post probably contains sarcasm or some other form of attempted wit, please don't take it to heart.

M14
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!
