Tough Mudder SouthWest

#1 Post by raybrown53 »

Hi guys

As I posted a while back I am running Tough Mudder.

Well the day is approaching fast and I will be running this coming Saturday 16th Aug.

To cut a long story short running Tough Mudder is something of a challenge for me having lost a fair amount of weight over the last 18 months or so (see attached before and after style picture).

I am really looking forward to it and am running with guys from my gym.

I am raising money for Help for Heroes and if anyone would like to donate to this worthy cause please please do no matter how small it all goes to a great cause. If you want to donate please use my link below.

Will be wearing a GoPro so hopefully I will have some funny footage to share next week.

Woohoo. Completed the course in 4hrs which was my target time. Got covered head to toe in mud several times over had an absolute blast doing it also. Only down side my gopro had technical issues (battery died looks like I need a new one) :(

Very muddy. Took me two days and several washes to clean all my kit. I did mud angels going around the course and we decided to push each other into as many of the biggest deepest smelliest muddy parts that we could find. :) An excellent day. I have signed up for next year already and will aim to do the course in under 3hrs next year.
