Moderator options for .308 Steyr
I currently have a T8 reflex on my Steyr SBS tactical in .308 (like an early version of the Pro Hunter with a heavy barrel). It's alright, but to be honest was on there when I bought the rifle 4 years ago, and was looking tired then, and I'm open to changing it. I confess to knowing nothing about moderators, so are then any suggestions for a) well built, and b) efficient ones. I do target work rather than hunting, so weight not a big issue. I'd rather buy good than buy twice. Open to getting a Ti one if they really are much better, but again any ideas or good sources of information/comparisons?

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools!!

I have a Wildcat Predator 8 on my SSG-04 (and my 300aac Handi Rifle), very happy with it/them. Easy to strip and clean and spare par8s are easily available from Wildcats online shop if you need to replace anything or need a different bridge piece for a another rifle with a different thread, or a shorter tube length etc.

+1 for Wildcat Predators. Cheap (by comparison), alloy rather than steel so don't rust/corrode, modular (as mentioned above) and come apart for cleaning (if you're that way inclined).
Unless you have money to burn i can't really see the point of getting a titanium mod as weight isn't an issue and i presume you're not going to be putting 1000's of rounds through it per year
