Can we have a new smiley pleeeeaase...?

Re: Can we have a new smiley pleeeeaase...?
Shooting disciplines, like work and forums all have their pluses and negatives, good types and absolute twits and if we all based our choice of discipline on what we read on forums I doubt many of us would be shooting any more than a single discipline. Luckily many of us have the sense to push the elitist twaddle to one side and just get on with what we enjoy most.
On a personal note I am always disappointed to read of what is bordering on angst between 'rival' forums and anyone who is a member of a few UK forums will have seen a fair amount of it these last few months. If we cannot agree between ourselves what hope have we got for the future of our sport?

Yep. I know that 'rivalry' first hand, but I'm still on here and other forums, hopefully giving a decent input. But, hey ho, let the 'elitists' have enough rope, and they'll sure hang themselves :)ovenpaa wrote:Shooting disciplines, like work and forums all have their pluses and negatives, good types and absolute twits and if we all based our choice of discipline on what we read on forums I doubt many of us would be shooting any more than a single discipline. I'm definitely not made for civilian service rifle especially when it come to the required "mind"set.
I am comfortable with that though and don't feel any less a person because of it.
I have shot the course of fire in the past and did enjoy it at the time but nowadays things have changed and it has seemed to have developed a tad too post modern a persona for me.
So long as it pleases you then enjoy it and good luck to you matey.
That is the beauty of shooting its diversity offers something for every one and you can find the company that suits you.
