New toy

#1 Post by ukrifleman »

Thought I would share my latest acquisition, a 1915 Gustafs Swedish Mauser.

It is in superb virtually un-fired condition, all matching numbers and with a pristine bore.
The woodwork and bluing is outstanding, there just a couple of minor crease marks to one side of the stock and some light discolouring to the butt plate which is in the white.

I am guessing it is an import, as it carries a 2013 Birmingham proof mark.

Forgive me for blowing my own trumpet, but quite frankly, it is probably the best condition s/h rifle of this age that I have ever seen.

Wow! That is in incredible condition :p

I've got one in 'well used' condition, but it's superbly accurate, got a lovely trigger and is a joy to shoot...enjoy :good:

What a superb looking rifle, without giving too much away did it happen to come from within East Anglia?
