Those are very expensive for what they are. I think this is pretty typical of the shooting industry, where we get products that have a hefty price hike compared to other industries.

There is another alternative, the Swiss actually developed a standard metal stripper clip that works with the rifle and it was tested against the cardboard example. That is why the receiver has the slots for a standard stripper clip:

The cardboard example won and the metal stripper clips forgotten about. Swissbianco have been looking to put the simple steel stripper clip into production again.

I recall a thread (possibly on a different forum) where someone mentioned that mosin nagant clips will work with a K31. May well require a little bit of 'fixing' but if you really must feed from clips then it may be worth a try. I have some mosin clips but as yet, haven't tried them in my K31 as I tend to feed the beast round by round.
