Sure thing. Want me to go and buy some tartan paint for the server box as well?

76 - Voted - viewed results - interesting (and encouraging, most youger than I expected).

Remember my first LERA trip at Bisley - an elderly gent reached into the boot of his Rolls Royce on Stickledown, pulled out a SMLE (it had one of those little brown handwritten pawnshop labels still tied with string) and proceeded to lie on his back , cross his ankles and shoot through his feet - someone said he was 93!

We had an older gentleman come to our club in North Wales with one of those Colt Buntlines that has an enormous barrel. He was very old, and nearly deaf, but was really lovely! He even let me take a pop with it! Must've been in his late 80s. I wondered if he was a veteran, but decided not to ask. He certainly didn't seem to miss, much!

My father in law walks four miles every morning, either goes to the range or comes over to my place to shoot a couple of times a week. Goes fishing a couple of times a week, still hunts wild turkey, deer and other game. He will be 86 this year.

At 20 I'm one of the younger few at my club, but we are getting more young shooters each year thanks to the shooting societies at university, as well as younger shooters dragging their friends to join them
