Amazing that someone who lived the life he did lasted to 70 really, he was pretty infamous for his excesses. Given the amount of speed he took, he probably lived way faster than most, so Lemmy years, like dog years, were shorter than those of more placid folk. In his own private universe he was nearer 100 when he went to growl at St Peter.

He lived a life most of us can only dream of and I believe he had no regrets, which is the way to live. Peace in the ever after Lemmy, if there is a Heaven, I hope Lemmy is in it's Fantasy band.
Strangely he's the third MH member to die this decade. Ex guitarist Wurzel died in 2011 and Phil Taylor the ex drummer died last month (rumors of his became a runnning joke at one stage).
