Need a chrony (to connect to my Samsung S4)

I need a chrony which will connect to my Samsung S4 phone, preferably via a cable.
The chrony will be for .22LR and for crossbow bolts also, but the main use will be for determining velocity changes for .22LR suppressed and unsuppressed.

One thing is certain: I will be looking for a device that I can put on a tripod, not one that attaches to the barrel. I want to use my phone as the readout at the shooting bench and I also want to record all the strings on the phone.

I'm going to be testing a bunch of suppressors with the same rifle and ammo.

If you've done something similar, please let me know.
Also: I have no Apple devices and I don't intend to purchase any.

You'd be much better with a Magnetospeed V3 as this records all data to a microSD card which can be read on almost anything via anSD card adaptor.

Sadly I can't attach anything to the barrel (I am going to be attaching and detaching multiple suppressors during testing). Also, that Magnetospeed won't attach to my crossbow.

Agreed, the V3 is not suitable for a crossbow but perfect for suppressors whereas the Magnetospeed sporter is not.

Switch your phone off don't worry the world wont come to a end.
Buy a chrono that comes with a hand held gizmo that displays all the data and even stores it. Lots of them out there. I have one.
Had it for years.
I leave my phone at home a much peace fuller range day.

I'll just bump this one more time:

Looking for a chrony that:

1) Does not attach to the barrel
2) Can send data to my Samsung S4 (prefer wired but wireless will be okay if it has adequate range)

Do a search as there seems to be plenty of Apps that allow phones to be connected to various chronographs. HTH.
