Range bag motivational patches

#1 Post by spikedueller »

whilst randomly browsing for Martini Henry I came across these motivational patches and couldn't resist for the range bag:

They do a lot of tempting others as well as T shirts and mugs but for now I stuck to the 4 of them.

Nice one !! I especially like the "Rule .303" one :good:

I wear the "Gwenn Ha Du" on my club shooting jacket & fly it on my home in Bretagne and my Dad on his boat.
After all, we have been French for less than 500 years & we are a tad stubborn ...

What does "motivational", I have also seen them called "morale" patches, mean.

Where has this meaningless description of an embroidered patch come from?

From the US I guess ? I guess some people view the practice as a very "classy & suttle" way to share/express/impose your personal interests/convictions with complete strangers . Interesting society we do live in ... O:-)

Bloody internet selling, make a military or at worst "tactical-black" tenuous association to something you want to sell and the sheeple go for it.

It is totally beyond my ken to see how an embroidered patch would make me feel better about anything.
