Need recommendations for a rigid gun case

#1 Post by Odd Job »

I had a rigid gun case (originally for the Sig522) which I liked, but which has been sold with the gun.
I need recommendations for a replacement that won't break the bank. It has to be plastic, preferably with closed cell foam inside, and it has to accommodate a single scoped rifle. I don't want a tapered case, it needs to be rectangular because it will be for a heavy bench rifle with a large scope, sunshade and bipod.

Multiple latches would be a bonus, along with a padlock hole.

Any recommendations?

I saw a Flambeau case at the range which was quite nice but it was expensive.

Check out the nuprol cases for airsoft. Heavy duty, mouldings a bit sharp but solidly built. £60 odd.

Nice, three ones the price of the nuprol and probably double the quality.

Indeed, they look amazing for the price. If only they were big enough; I'd have 3.

That is a shame they're so small, IP67 waterproof rating is impressive on a case that price

I have that very Plano case for my smallbore rifle. Strong, solid and feels very safe. Also the only time I've found NSRA shop at Bisley that matches Amazon
