Thread convertor

#1 Post by hobbesy »

Does anyone know if you can get a 5/8 X 24 male to 18X1 female thread convertor, haven't seen anything and the company that make the moderator don't make a 5/8 X 24 base for their mod.

Thanks

Well, there are some very helpful answers.
Try searching on Neil McKillop engineering - I had one of his convertors. They're well made at a resaonable cost.

In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Definately reccomend Neil. Based near Basingstoke.

He has threaded 4 or 5 rifles for me over the years, and made a thread convertor for my stalking rifle to convert from 1/2 to 5/8 for my brake that I use weekly
