Military look 22

#1 Post by Dellboy »

Is there still talk of banning military .22, and would that involve them being confiscated without compensation , or just limited to no sales either new or secondhand ?

I wouldn't worry, I seriously doubt they'll ban anything and if they did, it wouldn't be without financial compensation, despite the rumours. I still plan to buy a 9LR next year.

Oh, thats okay then.. no matter that my wife would have to give up shooting as her Arthritis means that her Ruger 10/22 with its military features has meant she can still hold it. Still, as lo g as she gets a portion of it value back..

Did they compensate the pistol owners when the ban came in?

There was little compensation for the full bore semi auto ban. There was compensation some poor some very good after the pistol ban. There was no compensation after the Brocock ban. As to future bans NO ONE can tell at the moment if there would be compensation or how much it might be.
