I must be lucky as I have two 552, one on a CMMG 22lr and one on a AR 223 S-A. Both SH, both performing as they should after 5 years. Granted England & Bretagne are a far kinder & more gentle environment than Iraq ;)

Found the vortex SPARC from Livens for £157.99 and will go for that unless anyone here knows of somewhere cheaper.

Thanks

According to forums, ome are finding them failing from New Hampshire to California. As said, Eotech even gave a returns and refund policy in place....
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

I heard that for heat, it only takes getting to 122 in old money Farenheit (that can happen in a car on a hot day) for the zero to shift and New Hampshire is closer to British Weather than California, Incidentally I belive Vortex are working on a Holographic sight to come out next year called the Huey that might be worth waiting, especially if its got a 1 moa dot and can work with the magnifier they make.
