Re: Price increases for powder/bullets 2017
There are lots of powder and rounds / bullets made in Australia that get to the UK via America with associated taxes and costs added on. Three lots of exchange rate losses and import / export taxes all add up.
I heard last year that the US military were sleeving their 223 barrels to 22LR to make it cheaper for GI's to practice. I was told that they took the entire yearly 22LR output from Remington which led to shortages in their market. Then add in the stockpiling panic. I was using Remy target rounds in 22LR and suddenly nobody had any and did not know when any were coming into the UK. I did get the last 100 box from Krank just before Christmas.

I sell them too. Being an RFD gay icon I see nothing wrong in me getting my share of the pink pound.
Every one knows air guns are gay.

All these price increases mean to me is more cast load bullet development I can quite happily peg my shooting at 200 yards and develop loads accordingly. My only out lay is powders and primers. I have all ready stock piled thousands of primers I have lots and lots of hundreds of cases. You need to think ahead. I also have hundreds of bullets to get through before I get to the cast stuff.
.22 I am not really a fan off but I have a few interesting ones to play with. Basically they can get on with it. I have all ready anticipated the worst and made provisions.

Every one knows air guns are gay.
What does being an RFD Gay icon actually entail? what pursuits, activites, clothes etc constitute this worthy title?
Just curious as I'm thinking of upping my game this year

I'm an RFD and P*****r pals of mine reckon I'm a bear and a gay icon so you would need to ask them as to what that entails as it is beyond my ken.
