Re: Garand
10/22 designed receivers...
Re: Garand
Oooh......like that, would make a nice stablemate for my GSG Stg.44
I wonder if anyone will import to UK at some point?

Re: Garand
Seems to largely be vapourware judging by their Facebook page. Even their own site proudly proclaims they are 'coming August 2015'
Would be good though. Judging by the okay job Chiappa did on their M1 carbine in .22, I bet they could be persuaded to do a garand.

Re: Garand
Latest edition of Dillon's Blue Press has a review of this rifle with a RRP of $699 so maybe it's on the way.

Re: Garand
There seem to have been a handful made for reviewers and even a few for consumers but I would put a shiny post-Brexit pound on them never producing them in volume or distributing/retailing...

Re: Garand
That's a Garage shaped but of wood with a 10/22 in the middle.
If it don't go ping, it ain't the real thing...

Re: Garand
Seems to have been an idea in the past but basically a Ruger 10/22. I think there would be issues using old Garand bits would there not as they're S5 now.

Re: Garand
They were on show at the 2015 Shot Show, and Suffolk Rifles thought about being a agent for them in the UK but do not think the company got around to doing them in any numbers to make it worth the investment.
Re: Garand
Doesn't do anything for me, the straight pull version is good enough for me, and I only bought a GSG MP40 because we wouldn't be able to get anything else and I'm a bit of a WW2 fanboy !
