He's free to post it, I'm free to think it was a pointless act.

It's all good :-)

Absolutely.

However it was removed wasn't it.

It is not the first freedom of speech/thought removal I have seen this morning.

Milo Yiannopoulos' new book due out next month was cancelled yesterday.

We may not agree however suppressing opinions make them even more dangerous which coincidentally is the name of his book :p

In this case, the image is not really relevant to the NRA, so I can see why they'd remove it.

A bit like if I started posting fishing pictures on here in the shooting section.

It's the nra page, surely they are as entitled to remove content they feel is innapropriate as someone is free to post it in the first place. Given the nra's charity status and objectives the picture was hardly pertinent and could be seen as supporting a view that has nothing to do with the organisations aims.

The NRA (UK) DON'T like being political and usually let BASC take the lead on the little be of public promotion that happens. To be fair I can see their point with the picture as posted. Maybe Mrs May surrounded by security and the less insulting label 'hypocrite' on her may have been more relevant

Joe, once again you never cease to amaze me with your, "I should be allowed to carry" policy etc.

I know you shoot NRA competitions, McQueens (I wont mention the sandbag!) and CSR.
Have you not ever considered that the NRA (GB) has nothing to do with lobbying the government for carrying firearms for self defence but has everything to do with marksmanship!

From the NRA Charter.

1) OBJECTS

The objects of the National Rifle Association (in these rules referred to as “the Association”) are the promotion and encouragement of Marksmanship throughout the Queen’s Dominions, in the interests of Defence and the Permanence of the Volunteer and Auxiliary Forces, Naval, Military and Air.1

Joe you're really not doing us any favours with your political views on gun ownership, if it means that much to you, move to the US.
