#1 Post by snayperskaya »

Anybody else find that Sellior & Bellot have shallow primer pockets compared to PPU cases?

I use both, and had never noticed this, found the S&B primers to work well

All the time. They are a last resort brass option for me.

To be honest I've turned the S&B cases into inert rounds as the RWS primers I have sit flush at best and a couple of cases the primers were a touch proud of the pocket and it seems to take more effort to seat the primer as well.

I found that the cases didn't last anywhere near as long as the PPU offerings.

Not had an issue with S&B brass as I use Federal primers in 54r.
