Hampshire FAC renewal

FAC dropped through the letterbox the day before the old one expired, all present and correct...........top marks, Winchester !! :good:

Let's hope Surrey are on the ball as mine is currently in for renewal, at least they have cashed my cheque so I know they have it.

I know when they receive mine because I send it signed for ...

Also I address it to police HQ with another envelope inside addressed to the firearms department.

Don't want too many people knowing what's inside :good:

I take mine in and leave it with the desk person....................always have, and never had a problem.

Renewed mine this year, expired beginning of March, applied for renewal in December, got it beginning February plus my old cert back, since the new one hadn't started yet.
Sent off for a variation Monday a week ago, got it back on the Saturday.
That's the Met for you!

I put in for my application beginning of Feb and had the FEO out Tuesday this week, I was expecting another 3-6 months. He said they're really trying to speed things up in Hampshire.

Might be signed for but unfortunately that doesn't mean they've actually received it!

Your lucky......West Yorks dont have a desk that you can visit. All their witchcraftery is done behind a PO Box number.

Same with GMP postal only no drop off, nor are they very good at responding to emails...
