yes my friend, but do you understand my point.

We should be certifying people as fit to possess safely and not working it on the type or number of firearms (security permitting)

Just had my variation back in Devon. 7 days, no other contact for my 9th firearm.

The OP, doesn't say how long he has been shooting, etc which may have influenced the visit. It is right that the police look at every request on its own imho.

The officer told me the 7.62 and 7.92 were too close together and would I choose one to drop! And they only like to grant five slots on initial application.
did you apply for the actions or just the calibre and you are listing what you got? I've only ever applied for a 'rifle' or a 'pistol' never defined what type or mechanism.

as to the OP, doesn't sound great, but then again, having a visit for a variation I think is a bit over the top anyway
Application form stated calibre and action type required

On my initial grant plod said similar things such as put the firearms in order of preference as you wont get them all 5mith He seemed particularly concerned about the pistols I had put on (Lbr and rimfire semi) I also got asked if I'd ever taken cannabis or cocaine which I thought was strange to single out those two drugs but nevermind....I'm presuming that heroin, speed and ecstacy are ok then troutslapping
I also got asked who was my best friend 5mith
These types of questions are self imposed psychoanalytical tests I reckon and were a bit poor if you ask me. teanews

I don't know if its relevant but cannabis and cocaine are the two drugs they can detect with a roadside wipe test.

Maybe they could start with the FEOs.
