Selling up question.

#1 Post by Hunter87 »

I've decided to sell up and quit shooting.

I have a question tho currently my CMMG rifle is listed as two separate slots on my FAC the lower is one slot And has a serial number but the upper has its own separate slot and doesn't so when it comes to sell these do I need to have a buyer with a slot for both an upper and lower or just a slot for X1 .22lr rifle on their FAC?

Hope that make sense thanks gents.

I would have though you could sell them as a 'rifle'. But if in doubt speak to your FEO or go to a local friendly RFD and ask them if they'd transfer and combine.
Arming the Country, one gun at a time.

Good deals with Paul101, Charlotte the flyer, majordisorder, Charlie Muggins, among others. Thanks everybody.

I had the same thing when I sold my SGC Speedmaster, my FEO just said to sell it as a complete rifle using the original serial number. I would check with your FLD though.

Just an FYI for anyone else who may find themselves in this position I have contacted my local RFD and for a fee of £25 beans they will take the upper and lower and turn them into one rifle then give it to the new buyer who only has authority to purchase one rifle (one slot) :)
