Gonna get some hate ;) I am turning my 30-30 Winchester 94 into a tactical lever gun as we speak, I'm getting the barrel cut down to just over 16" (enough to take an Atech moderator) and stick out just past the magazine tube.

The furniture is getting Cerakoted flat black, I'm going to fit a 'no drill' rail' as it's a pre 1960 rifle then fit a nice red dot or scout scope.

Well this is how it would look.
My immediate issue would be removing it to reload each time.

[Not sure where the other picture went!]

I don't dislike either (don't hate me :) ) - In fact I would like modify my .357 Marlin underlever (not a fan of wood stocks).
