I must admit that under the circumstances "bespoke" is a better word than "customised" .TomH wrote:Surely you mean bespoke? Customised suggests alterations, perhaps to fit something not mean't to be in there in the first place. Unless you are suggesting Gazza finds a ladyboy?MistAgain wrote: 3 . Find a mistress . It must be one who will not tolerate meeting in a Travellodge , or a quiet layby , but wants 5* hotels , customised french underwear and an option on a small apartment .
The salon I was remembering was in the Montparnasse district of Paris , and it offered private showings in a selection of expensive underwear . When you had selected the type of garment required , the lady of your life was measured to get an exact fit and it was ready for collection the next day .
Knowing the French , I suppose it is more than possible that they would also offer this service to ladyboys

How can you go from spending to mutch money on shooting to lady boys. This forum never ceases to amaze me.

Just keep the safe(s) locked, my Mrs has no idea how much I have spent other than my AI AT and S&B which was a birthday present to myself. Just buy a little and often :)

My Mrs is getting into shooting and she knows exactly how much my rifles and so forth cost.
My money is my money and hers is hers. We both out into the joint account for bills... for now.
I'm enjoying it whilst it lasts... I think the s&b I just bought for my AT might be the last big spend for a while though:-(

My wife has no interest in shooting at all. Fortunatelly I have enough spare income to be able to afford it.
Over the years luckilly I have just about managed to fill my bucket list.
But there is no getting away from it now a days shooting/reloading is a very expensive hobby?

It certainly costs more than it used to but so does everything else, so relatively speaking it still costs the same in relation to other pastimes.
Shooting and even gun collecting does not need to be onerously expensive, it is just a matter of choosing wisely.
The first follies in needlessly racking up your gun owning and shooting costs are being a firing line fashion slave and buying new.

I agree I dont buy very often now a days most of my stuff I have had for donkeys years my No4 cost me £150 the Mas36 £250 new. Steyer SSG £400 the .22 £10 I have never paid more than £500 for a firearm. I probably spend more per year on reloading than purchasing fire arms. I am definatelly not a firing line fashion slave.dromia wrote:It certainly costs more than it used to but so does everything else, so relatively speaking it still costs the same in relation to other pastimes.

Luckily (?) I was in a car accident not long after my Ex left, a decent injury payment meant I could return to shooting and also give my Autistic son a good hobby/reason to get out of the house instead of being in his room 99% of the time. Over the last 11 years I've bought and sold quite a few rifles etc. and ended up with (for me) a decent collection of toys in various calibres.
By buying components in bulk all our "outdoor" rifles, 6.5C, 260 & 308, can be loaded with high quality ammo for well under £40/100, if I didn't reload we couldn't afford to shoot!. I don't even look at factory ammo, I only just found out that 6.5Creedmoor factory ammo is selling for £180-£200/100!!!

Buy a big bag and fill it with bubble wrap to pad it out on the way out of the house, ditch the bubble wrap and carry the gear back into the house
The above is a joke, probably being from a different generation to a few on here me and my wife have separate accounts and keep our money to ourselves. We have a joint account that all the bills etc are paid from and the rest of our money is for us to do with as we please. I don't question her on the countless pairs of shoes and handbags she buys, she doesn't question me on the stuff I blow my money on
