Scope mount query

#1 Post by Noodly »

Right then guys/girls, I'm hoping someone can help me here.

I have a scope mounted on my Winchester 94ae that I would like to change from a 25mm tube to a 30mm tube one. The action is drilled and tapped.

Problem is I can't seem to find (maybe searching using the wrong words) similar mounts but for the larger diameter scope.

The mounts I have at the moment are labelled as weaver USA.

look for Warne or Leupold mounts you can get a set of bases that have a weaver mount and then the worlds your oyster (assuming you dont already have weaver pattern bases) you just buy the rings that you want in a weaver/piccatiny format

You just need to buy a set of 30mm rings you dont need to change the bases.
You need hangìng by your danglies for fitting a set of bases and a scope to an underlever any way.
A underlever with a 30 mm scope what in gods name are you shooting and were is the fun or challenge in that. wallhead

Have a look on here cheap as chips.

Am using my phone to access the forum (still can't afford a proper computer Adam haha) and haven't come across the resize function for adding a pic.

Will have another try when I have more time.

Cheers guys/girls for your help and interest :)
