Mike Yardley, he'll never change...

#1 Post by TattooedGun »

Over on facebook. spouting about how the UK needs a progressive force for shooting and we're losing the war... blah blah blah.

It's on the BASC Group, so you may need to be a member.

What an idiot.

Don't get me wrong, he is right.

That's exactly what the shooting community needs.

But coming from someone so divisive in the shooting community, someone willing to put target shooters on the back foot because he doesn't believe in it. It's pretty rich...

Even a fxxxxd clock gives the right time twice a day. But if you were to throw your lot in with him he'd throw your sport under the bus at the drop of a hat to preserve his sport.

you are probably right, but unfortunately someone has to make the first move and we can't all act like Yardley, sometimes we have to support the entire sport rather than just our little corner of it.

That and his knocking wearing milsurp army gear (wholly practical for rolling about in the dirt) as sad wannabe SAS blah blah blah.
And his views on how scary a rifle looks and public perception. If it's not his way it's no way.

Back in 1996 when I walked on the save our sport marches (still have the badges) in London he seemed like he had his finger on the pulse and he could be trusted to speak four square for shooting sports. These days I wouldn't trust the bludger as far as I could kick him.

Speaking the truth for once but his motivation is only his self interest and with all his baggage hypocritical. Shame he lost his small research allowance hopefully it has just gone to someone worthy of it.

Personally I hope he loses all of his media money, the guy is a traitor to shooting.
