Just about every 2nd advert on Gunstar etc seems to come from Devon. It's either a very dangerous county - or a very peaceful one.

Err no, it doesn't say that. It says that for the City of London area itself there are 173 firearms per 100,000 people. But 100,000 people don't live there, it was 9401 at the last Census. So when you work it through, those 3 people have between them about 16 guns.
