Falcon scopes

#1 Post by ukrifleman »

I have a shooting buddy in the USA who is interested in a British made Falcon S8i 1-8x24 MOA scope.

Any feedback/experience of this scope or other models made by Falcon would be greatly appreciated.

Had a Falcon scope on my CZ750 .308 for over nine years - no problems at all.

I had a Falcon 4-14 x 44 FFP on a 308 for a few years.......sharp, contrasty, and built like a tank. But it was Chinese made, just UK inspected before sale.

I'm currently running 2 Falcon M18's both 18x the one on my .308 is FFP and mil/mil its very good, clear optics and positive adjustments, fire the first shot, measure the distance to bull with the reticule (at any magnification) and make the adjustment without any calculations =spot on!
the other is a SFP and its again very clear and as long as the scope is set to the relevant mag (12 from memory) the adjustments transfer directly from reticle to turrets.
