Re: Copper solvent
I've tried both KG 12 and C2R............the borescope showed that Robla is better by far.
I don't think you can go by the colour of patches, either.
Before I got the Hawkeye, the previous barrel on my 308 showed clean using C2R going by the colour of the patches. The Hawkeye told a different story.
An overnight soak with Robla, and I suddenly had some rifling once more, plus a heap of blue/black gunge on the floor.
If you try it, put a couple of wet patches through after use before drying and oiling the bore.

The borescope doesn't lie - but patches can!

Re: Copper solvent
Just tried the Robla....quite impressive...heavy on the ammonia. Nice squeezy type bottle with nozzle.

I've been using the ballistol solvent, it certainly does hit you when you open the lid!
