In full:
I believe the original ban on handguns in the UK in the 1990s was undemocratic and disproportionate, then Tony Blair's government went further to ban .22 handguns for no good justifiable reason at all. I believe ownership of these firearms is not a concern for public safety, nor was it ever.

We respectfully ask that these firearms be legalized again for personal ownership and sporting purposes.
