Does it fire from an open bolt/have a fixed firing pin?

I’ve seen it start with the bolt closed. So not likely an open bolt.... open bolt is no go in the us since the first tec 9s.Blackstuff wrote:I would like to see a video of it actually operating with ammo. It simply doesn't look like it has the the bolt speed to strip a round of a mag with more than 10 or so rounds in it, or to eject the casing reliably.

Exactly - I think it would be hard enough to cycle it effectively with .22lr. Just try cycling a 9mm or .45acp with your trigger finger, not once but ten time in quick succession, the mechanical advantage is just not there - a big clockwork spring or CO2 capsul in the butt would give it a head start. :)Blackstuff wrote:I would like to see a video of it actually operating with ammo. Surely that would only matter if it was semi-auto?Sixshot6 wrote:I’ve seen it start with the bolt closed. Just a few us dealers and the rest about it, never underestimate the atf and their ability to make a mountain out of a molehill. They’re the same org that told told us builders around 2005 or so they couldn’t use barrels from full auto demilled kits even though it’s just a tube with grooves in regardless....Blackstuff wrote:Surely that would only matter if it was semi-auto?Sixshot6 wrote:I’ve seen it start with the bolt closed. A shooters finger following a practical rifle season using this rifle;

Worst trigger pull ever, very long and reminded me of an old toy gun a I had as a kid.
With a fired cartridge in the chamber it will be even worse.
Any user better have strong fingers then!1066 wrote:BamBam wrote:I fingered it last week.

Also worth remembering you will extracting/ejecting a case with the full weight of the mag spring pushing the next round aginst the bolt causing even more drag.
