Does anyone have any news on the progress of the bill, other than the updates on the .gov website (no update since the 10th April)?

Dunno, but I'm currently having a straight pull AR built, I've officially retired my .223 LR. ****

Nothing new since 10th April 2019. I keep looking at this website to see where we are up to:

Having to replace a LR AR, that makes me sad!

From reading the minutes, it sounds like everything was agreed to but then I'm certainly no expert on the passage of bills... Hurry up and wait.

It states: "making it an offence to possess a corrosive substance in a public place" - that will be interesting. I know it is meant to deal with acid and bleach attacks, however there are a lot of normal products that can be considered corrosive - vinegar for example, or even some carbonated drinks. I hope the actual bill or subsidiary documents have a better definition.

Nothing yet that I'm aware of. It might be available on either the HO or gov.uk website.

Chris Packham brings a case against the General Licence & the Govt. gives in before it even reaches court.
But I bet none of our associations will do anything to bring a legal challenge to this law.

Time to get some pink spray-paint then if that's the end of it.
